Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Material Handler/Inspector to join our warehouse team. This role involves overseeing materials handling operations, inspecting incoming shipments, . As such the candidate needs to be able to ready drawings, use calipers, and tape measures, matching Purchase Orders with Pack Lists. The ideal candidate, needs to be very organized with attention to detail, ability to count and write as well as familiarity with MRP/ERP systems. They would need to have the ability to operate an electric ride-on lift truck and pallet jack safely and lift up to 50 lbs. . This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior warehouse experience to contribute to a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment Conduct inspections of incoming goods to ensure quality and accuracy. Manage shipping & receiving processes, including verifying quantities and documentation. Maintain safety standards Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and space optimization. Support heavy lifting tasks and ensure proper use of equipment like forklift trucks Experience Proven warehouse distribution experience with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving, and materials handling. Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards in a warehouse setting. Experience with MRP/ERP systems This role is vital in maintaining efficient warehouse operations while ensuring safety and accuracy across all tasks performed by the team.
