Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Seasonal Marina Dockhand to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for water sports and boating. As a Dockhand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service dock, providing excellent customer service to boaters, and maintaining the facility grounds. This seasonal role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. • Applicant must be available weekends (Sundays until labor day/Saturdays into October Responsibilities Assist boaters with docking and undocking their vessels safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the marina docks and surrounding areas. Perform routine cleanings on customer bathhouse Provide excellent customer experience on service dock Maintain grounds by regularly mowing and perform light landscaping duty Assist with Ship Store and be able to run a register Greet guests and answer phone inquiries Experience Basic mathematical knowledge in accepting payments on service dock and running a register is a must. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. A passion for boating, water sports, or marine activities is highly desirable.
