Driver & Warehouse Technician

P1 is seeking a Driver & Warehouse Technician to support local deliveries and daily shipping operations. This is a hands-on role that blends driving, material handling, and shipping execution to keep products moving safely and on time. You'll be responsible for transporting parts between local sites and suppliers while also supporting packing, staging, and shipment preparation inside the facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, takes pride in safe and organized work, and can flex between driving and warehouse responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles (20' box truck and/or flatbed) for local deliveries in the Scotia, Glenville, and Schenectady area Load, secure, and transport materials to ensure safe and damage-free delivery Perform proper load securing for both box trailers and flatbeds Assist with shipping operations including picking, packing, and preparing outgoing orders Palletize products as needed to support shipment requirements Use pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials efficiently Verify shipments for accuracy and ensure proper documentation is completed Support staging and movement of completed jobs for shipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a strong safety record Qualifications Valid driver's license required; Class B preferred (no CDL required for current equipment) Experience operating box trucks and/or flatbed vehicles preferred Experience securing loads for transport (strapping, bracing, etc.) Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to be trained) Experience using pallet jacks and general material handling equipment Basic warehouse experience including picking, packing, and shipping Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
