Job Description

Warehouse Associates ship, receive, process, and store inventory, which includes receiving products or materials, inspecting goods, and stocking shelves. They also pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, maintain accurate inventory records, and operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. Key responsibilities also involve keeping the warehouse clean and safe and accurately documenting all shipments and receivables.
Role and Responsibilities:
Use forklift to safely load or unload products and move products to proper area in warehouse Scan and count cartons as needed Understand warehouse layout to maximize time and negotiate environment safely Verify picking, receiving or putting away correct product Keep area clean and neat, picking up broken pallets and debris as necessary Inspect product for defects or damage Ensure regulatory compliance is met Ensure raw materials are accessible for production Forklift inspection with each use Perform cycle counts Receive finished goods Fill in as Lead when necessary
Qualifications:
Good communication skills for interacting and coordinating with coworkers Willingness to work as a team player Problem-solving skills to effectively handle urgent issues Flexibility to perform varied tasks Physical stamina and strength to tolerate heavy lifting and standing for extended periods of time Organizational skills Prior forklift operating experience in a fast-paced environment Awareness of surroundings, safety conscious, able to sit and drive forklift for extended periods of time Ability to add subtract divide and multiply Able to operate a scanner consistently and accurately Cooperative and good attendance Experience with management warehouse system Basic math and computer literacy skills for creating invoices and other financial documents Time Management skills Inventory Management experience
