Job Description

Position Summary:
The General Laborer is responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks throughout the production, warehouse, and shipping areas. This position supports daily operations by performing manual labor, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting skilled employees with fabrication, assembly, packaging, loading, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the facility. Perform basic assembly, fabrication, packaging, and shipping tasks. Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively. Prepare products for shipment, including crating, wrapping, labeling, and staging. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Assist skilled trades personnel and supervisors with daily production activities. Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy. Handle inventory and organize materials in designated storage areas. Perform general facility maintenance and housekeeping duties. Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or labor experience is a plus. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods. Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions as needed. Ability to safely operate tools and equipment.
