Job Description
Warehouse Associate, Picker/Packer, Animal Health Our Canal Winchester, OH location is seeking a DC Team Member that performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.

No work experience required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Prefer 6 months' work experience in a warehouse or production environment. Ability to read and understand English to effectively read product descriptions, labels, shelves, and other product documents. Ability to understand basic math to ensure accurate product quantities. Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts).PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Ability to lift and transport 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50-70 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to stand and/or walk on concrete for the duration of the shift and complete tasks that include bending, stooping, and reaching. May occasionally require working in a cooler environment of 35- 46° F.
