$. Material Handler in Huron, OH Starting pay: $18.48 and up to $26.03 per hour, plus $1.00 shift differential Shift (3rd shift): Sunday- Wednesday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, overtime as needed. Full -Time Benefits A Material Handler at The Pittsburgh Paints Company receives, ships and handles raw materials, packaging and finished goods as it enters or leaves the site. Key Responsibilities May Include Following all safety rules, processes and procedures. Receiving and handling raw materials needed for production. Loading and unloading trailers, following dock safety procedures. Operating robotic palletizers, stretch wrappers, conveyors. Maintaining clean and orderly work areas. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred. Stand for extended periods of time, maneuvering around equipment. Lift up to 50 pounds routinely and up to 80 pounds infrequently. Follow detailed instructions and record progress. Operate material handling equipment, hoists and other equipment.
