Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handler to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operations by handling materials, operating equipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This position requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with others and is committed to safety and quality. Duties Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using forklifts Operate cherry pickers for order picking and inventory management tasks. Build and organize pallets for efficient storage and transportation. Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols. Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy in stock levels. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is highly desirable. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. A commitment to safety practices and procedures within the workplace.
