Job Description
General Laborer - Equipment Washing & Cleaning We are seeking a dependable General Laborer to support our equipment maintenance operations. This role focuses on washing, cleaning, and basic upkeep of asphalt pavers and other heavy construction equipment to ensure everything remains in safe, working condition. Key Responsibilities Wash and clean asphalt pavers and other heavy equipment using pressure washers and cleaning tools. Remove dirt, asphalt buildup, grease, and debris from machinery surfaces and components. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, identifying visible wear, and reporting issues to a supervisor. Keep the wash bay and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and safe. Assist with general labor tasks as needed to support daily shop and yard operations. Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in labor‑intensive or outdoor work; construction or equipment experience is a plus. Ability to operate pressure washers and basic cleaning equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day. Basic mechanical understanding of construction equipment is helpful but not required. Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well with a team. Must have reliable transportation
