Job Description

A material handler is needed to support our client's warehouse and production teams in Lancaster, Ohio. If you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks (certification provided in-house) Unload deliveries and transport materials to designated areas Supply production lines with raw materials and retrieve empty pallets Perform shipping and receiving duties when needed Load outbound freight and inspect equipment Maintain forklift batteries and propane tanks Support safety protocols including PPE and Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures This is a temporary-to-direct, full-time position, hiring immediately. We have both first and second shift available. First shift is Mon through Thurs, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday, 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. Second is Mon through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Pay starts at $23.94 per hour ($1 shift differential for second shift). If hired on permanently, this company offers a full benefits package.
Skills & Experience:
Basic math and tape measure skills (to 1/16 ") Ability to read and write English for reports and work orders Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and using mechanical lifts for heavier loads Comfortable working independently or as part of a team Strong multitasking and time management abilities

Pay:
$23.94 - $24.94 per hour
