Job Purpose The Warehouse Representative will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming furniture and materials, picking, and packing orders from warehouse, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities Unloads inbound trucks. Picks orders for delivery teams. Checks-in, identifies and puts away product in a timely manner in the appropriate areas grouped together using RF Scanners. Assists in customer pick-ups via RF scanning. Works with warehouse team to answer any inbound/outbound questions. Condenses furniture aisles everyday via RF scanning. Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures. Conducts operations in compliance with OSHA standards. Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety. Maintains a clean work area, free from debris on warehouse floor. Meet company standards for productivity. Perform other duties as assigned. Necessary and desirable qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following : Skilled in using standard tools such as dollies, tow motors, power industrial trucks, 4 wheels, drills, etc. Experience working with furniture a plus. Ability to multitask and prioritize. Must have outstanding attendance and punctuality. Work well in a team environment. A positive attitude. Strong work ethic. Clean driving record a must. Education (degree(s) required) High School Diploma or equivalent Experience (years of experience required) 2-5+ years proven warehouse experience. Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with a focus on inventory management and materials handling. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar platforms for inventory tracking. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse environments and heavy equipment operation. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physical stamina for long periods of standing, walking, or manual tasks required. Knowledge of packaging techniques for furniture products and experience with order fulfillment processes such as order picking & packing.
