$17/hr, starting pay Job Description A local manufacturing company is seeking an individual who will operate braid band forming machine, wrapped band machine, strip cutting/coil making, and brander. Additionally, you will produce parts within tolerance parts according to published standards or drawing, inspect parts with measuring instruments, and complete Daily Tally Sheet. W ork hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

Operate forming machine, wrapped band machine, strip cutting/coil making, and brander machines, and related equipment on a daily basis Correctly and accurately complete necessary forms, logs, and paperwork relate to completing orders Communicate with Team Lead regarding operation of equipment, asking questions when necessary, and reporting all malfunctions and irregularities Maintain production of parts and rotate through production doing all duties including shipping Focus on quality, details, and accuracy in the fast paced, same day shipping environment Keep work area clean and orderly and participate in regular cleaning of equipment and workspaces Maintain a safe working environment

Job Requirements Job Requirements:

Must have a High School diploma or GED No experience required, manufacturing background preferred Must have the ability to use dial caliper, have strong hand-eye coordination, and able to learn and retain information Must have good oral and written communication skills and able to pay a strong attention to detail and quality Must be able to function as a member of a team and conduct self positively and professionally with all employees Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds repeatedly, able to stand for long periods of time, and function within published lifting/physical requirement Must have a strong work ethic, no attendance issues, and valid driver's license Must be able to focus on safety and safe operating procedures Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
