General Laborer

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a General Laborer role in Marion, OH. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering high-quality metal products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

Pay:

$17+/hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Unload parts from laser cutting machines safely and efficiently. Clean and prep metal parts using tools such as hand grinders and weld cleaners. Perform basic assembly of finished or semi-finished components. Inspect parts for quality and remove slag, burrs, or debris as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following company safety standards. Assist with material handling and movement of parts within the production area. Work with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Promptly report any equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors. Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines while operating hand tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or general labor is a plus. Experience using hand grinders, weld cleaners, or similar hand tools preferred. Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
