Warehouse Associate

In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse operations, from unloading shipments to organizing inventory and preparing products for shipment. Key Responsibilities:

Unload shipments from trucks or containers, and load products onto pallets, trucks, or shelves. Ensure items are handled safely and stacked securely to prevent damage during transport or storage. Verify the accuracy and condition of incoming shipments by comparing contents to packing lists or purchase orders. Inspect picked materials for quality, accuracy, and proper quantities before preparing them for shipment. Label received goods and store them in designated areas within the warehouse, following an organized inventory system. Ensure safe and efficient storage, adhering to safety guidelines. Properly package goods, selecting the correct packaging materials, sealing boxes, and applying shipping labels to ensure products are ready for transport and distribution. Select materials or products based on order specifications to fulfill orders. Monitor inventory and alert management when levels are low or when restocking is required. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials efficiently within the warehouse. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience, Knowledge, & Skills:

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required. Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks). Forklift Certification or ability to become forklift certified. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving trucks is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and inventory. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labor. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and warehousing practices is a plus.
