7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM About the Role Planes Companies is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in our Dayton, OH facility. This hands-on role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and supporting a safe, organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and support timely replenishment Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately to meet customer and shipping requirements Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes as assigned Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement Assist with packaging and quality control following established procedures Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment that complies with OSHA safety standards Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve workflow efficiency Qualifications Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred Must be able to pass a background check Experience with inventory systems such as AS400 is a plus Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks Strong knowledge of material handling techniques and warehouse safety practices Mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and dependable work ethic Why Join Us Join a growing team where your work directly supports operational success.
