Job Description

A General Labor employee supports the aluminum recycling and production process by performing hands-on tasks throughout the plant under the direction of the supervisor or pre-stager.

12 Hour Shift
We have positions open on the teams listed below: Team 1: Sunday to Tuesday and every other Saturday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM Team 2: Sunday to Tuesday and every other Saturday, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM Team 3: Wednesday to Friday and every other Saturday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM Team 4: Wednesday to Friday and every other Saturday, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM Typical Duties Sort, move, and prepare scrap materials Load and unload materials Assist furnace and production operations Perform industrial cleaning and housekeeping Use basic tools (for example: sledgehammer) and equipment Move, flip, stack, or position materials Support experienced operators as needed Follow safety rules and production schedules Assist with skimming operations by removing surface impurities from molten material under supervision Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the shift to support safety and efficiency Work Environment Industrial setting with exposure to heat, dust, noise, physically demanding work, and cold temperatures during winter.
