Packing/Warehouse Associate

Job description: Overview We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for shipment by performing packaging. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the production process while ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols. The ideal candidate will possess great work attendance, can work 1st shift, and can be on your feet most of the day. Responsibilities Prepare products for shipment by accurately packaging items according to specified guidelines and standards. Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment to assemble, package, and secure products efficiently. Conduct routine inspections to verify product integrity, labeling accuracy, and packaging completeness. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area, adhering to safety protocols. Assist in inventory management by accurately recording packaged products and updating warehouse records. Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements for efficiency and safety. Skills Mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and mechanical assembly techniques. Familiarity with packaging processes within a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Excellent attention to detail coupled with organizational skills necessary for precise packaging tasks. Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and ensure quality standards are met.
