Solon, Ohio 30701 Carter St, Solon, OH 44139 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused PIV Operator (Powered Industrial Vehicle Operator) to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will safely and efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse using powered industrial equipment to support inbound, storage, picking, and outbound operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, comfortable working at heights, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling & Equipment Operation Safely operate powered industrial equipment including: Forklift Reach truck Order picker Turret truck Load, unload, transport, stack, and retrieve materials, including elevated storage locations Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns Follow all warehouse safety procedures, policies, and operational standards Order Fulfillment & Accuracy Pick and retrieve products using pick lists, RF scanners, or warehouse systems Verify product descriptions, quantities, and storage locations to ensure order accuracy Pack, label, and stage orders to reduce damage and support efficient shipping Inventory Movement & Organization Support put-away, replenishment, and inventory consolidation activities Maintain organized and accurate storage locations Report inventory discrepancies, damages, or operational issues to supervisors Warehouse Operations Support Assist with receiving and staging inbound shipments Transport materials between warehouse departments Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Forklift certification or ability to become certified Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift Comfortable working at heights Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English or Spanish Availability for overtime, weekends, and flexible shift schedules Preferred Qualifications 1-2+ years of warehouse or material handling experience Prior experience operating powered industrial equipment (PIV) Familiarity with RF scanners, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or inventory systems What Success Looks Like We're looking for team members who demonstrate: Safety First•Follows all safety procedures, completes equipment inspections, and never bypasses protocols.
