Job Description
CFI has been an Authorized Service Provider for The Home Depot since 1998. CFI services 50,000+ customer installations a year with projects ranging from flooring, kitchen remodels, window treatments, granite countertops, doors, and stand by generator installations. We have facilities located in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi. CFI Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Warehouse Associate at our Flooring Warehouse facility located in Streetsboro, Ohio. This position will be part of our flooring department and will report directly to the Site Manager. This position will provide an excellent growth opportunity for the right individual.
Duties:
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers using a forklift
- Conduct inventory control and ensure that products are properly stored and labeled.
- Collaborate with leadership team to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and fleet vehicles
- Deliver product to customer homes or installers as needed to complete installation jobs.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred; Flooring experience is helpful
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control procedures.
- Valid Unrestricted Driver's License Required
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
