Material Handler Employ-Temps Staffing Services - 3.3 Strongsville, OH Job Details Temp-to-hire From $18 an hour 5 days ago Benefits Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Material Handler We are looking for an experienced Material Handler to assist our client in Strongsville, OH with their warehouse operations. In this position you will be maintaining continuous materials supply at each machine to enable efficient operations without disruption due to lack of materials.

Pay:

$18+/hr depending on experience + .50 shift diif once switched to second shift. Will be $18.50 after training on first shift.

Shift:

3:45pm-12:15am (Training will be on 1st shift - 8:00 am - 4:30 pm)

Key Responsibilities:

Maintains a safe working environment by following environments by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or Equivalent (GED) One to two years of experience in a related field Exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills Must possess good problem solving skills Willingness to work as team member or independently
