Material Handler Pay Rate:
$18.00/hour + $0.50 Shift Differential ($18.50/hour on 2nd Shift)

AM Training Schedule:
1st Shift (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
Overtime:
As needed. Must be available to work overtime and weekends when required. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler to support manufacturing operations by ensuring a continuous supply of materials to production equipment and workstations. This role is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, organizing, and tracking materials throughout the facility to maintain efficient production and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse or material handling experience, strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to read a tape measure accurately. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures and report unsafe conditions. Support company quality standards and production requirements. Read work orders and follow verbal instructions to determine materials to be moved or staged. Load and unload materials from pallets, racks, shelves, trays, and storage areas. Move materials between storage and production areas to ensure continuous machine operation. Operate industrial trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or hoists to transport materials. Secure loads using proper lifting attachments and material handling procedures. Count, weigh, and record materials moved during production activities. Label and identify materials, containers, bundles, and products. Stack, bundle, band, and organize materials for storage or shipment. Assist with loading trucks and preparing outgoing materials. Collect and label material samples as required. Perform general warehouse housekeeping and assist machine operators when needed. Lift and move materials manually or with powered equipment. Complete material movement documentation and maintain accurate records. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. One to two years of warehouse, material handling, manufacturing, or related experience preferred. Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills. Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills. Good problem-solving abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience operating forklifts, tow motors, pallet jacks, or similar material handling equipment is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift. Basic Requirements Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16" increments. Ability to perform basic shop math calculations. Ability to accurately measure and mark materials for production processes. Must be felony-free for the past 7 years. Must successfully pass a 10-panel drug screen (THC/Marijuana is NOT included in testing). Must successfully complete a tape measure and basic math assessment. Must be able to interview in person.
