Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of assigned production areas while ensuring the production of high-quality finished products. The role involves operating process equipment, bagging, palletizing, labeling, sampling, data entry, housekeeping, and supporting maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment. Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Forklift certification is a plus. Candidates must be able to successfully complete an N95 respirator fit test to help mitigate dust exposure. Essential Responsibilities Operate process equipment safely and efficiently. Perform bagging, palletizing, labeling, and sampling of finished products. Accurately enter finished goods data into company systems. Maintain production records, shift logs, and operating documentation. Monitor equipment performance and report process disturbances or equipment issues. Assist with troubleshooting production issues under supervisory guidance. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bagging area and warehouse. Safely operate forklifts and ensure finished goods are properly stored and stacked. Perform minor maintenance tasks, including replacing gaskets, filters, and tightening bolts. Rework materials as required. Inspect products for quality and report any process abnormalities. Communicate critical production information during shift handoffs. Immediately report environmental releases, spills, pollution control malfunctions, and safety concerns. Follow all company policies, procedures, and EHSS (Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security) requirements. Participate in safety training, incident investigations, toolbox talks, safety observations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support team members and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass background check and drug test Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing conditions. Preferred Two or more years of experience in a chemical plant, refinery, power plant, manufacturing facility, or similar industrial environment. Military experience in a related field. OSHA Hazard Communication training. Forklift certification and operating experience. Experience operating man-lifts, tractors, or specialized industrial equipment. Knowledge of hazardous waste handling procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience using ERP systems such as SAP. Knowledge of EHS and Quality Management Systems. Work Environment This position regularly works in an industrial manufacturing environment and may be exposed to: Dust, dirt, odors, and chemicals Loud noise and vibration Indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme temperatures Production and warehouse operations Occasional use of office equipment including computers, phones, and scanners is required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance for extended periods. Ability to reach, grasp, and perform repetitive hand movements. Ability to work at heights. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including an N95 respirator. #TOL1
