What You Will Do/Need (Job Summary) Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for tracking the cycle of medical equipment and is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties. Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities) Transport equipment within the warehouse, weighing and organizing various sizes and weights of equipment inventory Organize product in the correct warehouse lane once inventoried Utilize an iPad to track various aspects of medical equipment Capture and record equipment information with a high degree of accuracy Operate heavy duty pallet jack, freight scales and other necessary equipment Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas Loading and unloading shipment truck when product is delivered or ready to be sent out. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations Perform other duties and services as assigned by the VP of Operations Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required) Excellent verbal communication skills 2 years Warehouse experience required Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to pass a criminal background screening and drug screen if required Characteristics of the Position (Competencies, Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Motivated, collaborative, team player Basic photography skill on handheld devices, such as an iPad, preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to push, pull, sit, stand, crouch, reach, and have visual acuity Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Warehouse environment - position requires standard warehouse equipment and supplies such as pallet jack, freight scale, etc. The worker is subject to both environment conditions, activities occur inside and outside Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Normal working hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 PM Possible overtime as needed, but not required
