Full Job Description Position Summary:
Material Handlers are required to manage both raw materials and finished goods for the Production Department. Operate a forklift in a safe manner and work with production supervisors, leads and machine operators to ensure that all the equipment's needs are met. Material Handlers will conduct themselves in an appropriate and professional manner always with all employees and outside services.Responsibilities:
Responsibilities are as outlined below but not limited to the following:- Operate forklift safely observing all safety rules.
- Follows the directions of Supervision/Leads. Follows all procedures.
- Stage all raw materials for orders at production equipment in a timely manner.
- Remove all trash from department and place it in proper container.
- Clean Driers/Grinders and Hoppers for material changes
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must have previous material handling experience.
- Must work well within a team environment
- Detail oriented with good organization and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Math and Reading skills a must The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those the employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of the job.
Pay:
$20.00- $24.
