- Corrugate (Forklift Operator) is responsible for operating a forklift to move, store, and organize materials and products within the warehouse.
This role includes loading and unloading shipments, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. The forklift operator will play a key role in the efficiency of warehouse operations and the timely flow of goods. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments with accuracy and care. Organize and store corrugate materials in designated locations to optimize space and accessibility. Verify received materials against shipping documents for accuracy. Support inventory management by accurately scanning, labeling, and documenting material movements. Inspect forklifts and other equipment daily and report any malfunctions or safety concerns. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment including removing debris and managing waste. Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including the use of proper PPE and adherence to OSHA standards. Collaborate with team members, warehouse supervisors, and shipping/receiving personnel to ensure smooth operations. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. Valid forklift certification required. Minimum one (1) year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment. Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory systems, and shipping/receiving processes. Ability to read and interpret work orders, shipping labels, and basic documentation. Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations related to forklift operation and material handling. Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good spatial awareness and ability to maneuver in tight spaces. Basic math skills for inventory counts and documentation. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Problem-solving mindset for identifying and resolving inventory or equipment issues. Dependability and time management to meet deadlines and maintain flow of goods.
