Full-time Overview:
Working under direct supervision of the Receiving or Shipping Supervisor, Material Handler operates a powered forklift truck to efficiently and accurately locate all inbound products coming through the receiving department to physical locations in the facility. Additionally, the use of forklifts is necessary to perform the stock transfers inside the four walls of operation, transfer of completed Work Orders leaving the Configuration Lab, as well as the pulling of Work Orders into the Configuration Lab and performing cycle counts on all products in the facility. Hours for this position are 1:30pm - 10pm Monday - Friday Where applicable, this position assures departmental processes are performed in compliance with applicable Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
Responsibilities:
Primary Job Duties Accurately stocks inbound products in valid warehouse locations using various forklift trucks. Records the correct quantity stocked Applies UPC's as required when locating product Meets Material Handling deadlines Utilizing a fork lift truck, handles all requests for inter-department transfers of inventory for Value Add production teams. Researches and resolves product shortages in picking locations. Utilizing a fork lift truck, performs schedule cycle counts of all products to validate inventory integrity. Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required competencies: Basic computer knowledge with ability to operate keyboard for data entry. Mechanical/computer proficiency with ability to learn in house computer applications, Radio Frequency and Scanning equipment Attention to detail in processing, keying, and handling inbound product Basic math aptitude Able to follow written and verbal directions Effective in communicating with co-workers Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation to take on additional tasks. Good safety performance
