Yard Worker

We are NOT Altara in Sacramento. We are an oil and gas service company. Trying to get Indeed to fix the company name. We're building out a new yard and need shop help to disassemble natural gas compressors . This work involves tearing down units, cleaning and tagging components, and preparing parts for shipment to another facility for reassembly.

Responsibilities:

Disassemble natural gas compressor units (about 140 total, 2-4 per week). Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely. Keep work area clean, organized, and safe. Label and document removed components for tracking and shipping. Follow supervisor direction and meet weekly teardown goals. Document and track inventory.

Qualifications:

Basic mechanical or shop experience preferred (oilfield, automotive, or industrial background). Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors. Reliable transportation to the yard north of Sallisaw. Safety-conscious and dependable. Contract position with potential to become full-time hire.

Schedule & Pay:

Full-time, 40 hours/week, overtime possible. Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Contract-to-hire opportunity. If you're looking for steady, hands-on work and a chance to grow into a long-term position, we'd like to hear from you.
