Job Description
WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE POSITION AVAILABLE

Englund Marine, a leader in the Marine and Fishing industry is looking for an experienced warehouse person for our Astoria, OR location. If you are an upbeat individual who likes working with the public and being a part of a growing company where your efforts can make a difference, then this is the job for you! The ideal candidate is a hard-working team player who has a cheerful, upbeat personality, and wants to be an active driver of the success of the company where they work! Duties include but are not limited to:- Loading and unloading trucks
- Checking in and stocking freight
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Fill orders by accurately picking merchandise from the warehouse
- Process customer orders using a computer system
- Restock shelves from back stock and new shipments
- Prepare merchandise for shipping, load trucks, and other misc. duties
- Other duties as assigned by
Warehouse or Operations Manager Skills and Experience Required:
- Requires the ability to repetitively lift over 50 lbs
- Must be capable of picking orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Able to move freely about the facility, climb stairs, stoop, bend, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods of time; up to and over 8 hours a day
- Must be able to climb ladders up to 6' high while pulling orders
- Must be able to lift packages of products from overhead shelves
- Must be able to push and pull a hand truck and maneuver a pallet jack
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Forklift operation and ability to pass the certification course
- Understand basic computer operations as needed for inventory & customer look-up. Excel skills a plus!
- Must be able to read and follow instruction
- Possess excellent attention to detail
Time Requirements:
- Job is Monday through Friday with some weekends during the year
- Base hours are 7:30am through 5:30pm
