Job Description

Hourly Rate:
$20/hour + Monthly incentive bonus after 90 days of employment.
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Summary:
The Material Handler / Tool Kitting team member supports warehouse operations by assembling and customizing tool kits, organizing inventory, and preparing materials for customer orders. This role involves labeling, packaging, branding, and various material handling duties, with a strong focus on accuracy, reliability, and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Duties Stage and "de-trash" incoming tool components. Customize and package tool kits according to customer's SOPs or inhouse procedures. Perform branding tasks including logoeing, painting, etching, and applying decals. Charge and paint power tool batteries. Assemble industrial carts and job boxes. Package and brand ladders using stenciling and heat pressing methods. Transfers and receiving of tool kitting department material. Build fall protection packages according to customer's SOPs or inhouse procedures. Support tool shows and assist with event setup and teardown. Conduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy as needed. Pull orders and locate material using RF scanning systems. Unload product using a forklift or by hand and accurately put away in designated warehouse areas. Receive and check incoming products using RF/warehouse procedures, ensuring they match the purchase order. Achieve or exceed accuracy goals for order pulling and inventory tracking. Prepare products for staging by labeling, palletizing, and wrapping as needed. Assemble and prep custom non-stock orders according to specifications. Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move inventory. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse. Assist customers with will-call orders and returns. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills:
Technical Qualifications/Experience Minimum of one-year experience in material handling, warehousing or logistics is preferred. Familiarity with RF devices and inventory/order processing systems is a plus. Forklift experience and ability to maintain forklift certification. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and English comprehension to interpret work orders, inventory labels, and safety information. Positive attitude and effective communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
The employee is regularly required to sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel computer equipment; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; use hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects; stand, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; May be required to move or traverse considerable distances in the facility during the course of a workday; Lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly to a height of 3-4 feet. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time; Ability to ascend/descend a ladder to retrieve and store inventory. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment.
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions. Fast paced work with frequent movement and physical activity. Safety PPE (gloves, safety glasses and safety toed boots) required.
