Full Job Description We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Heavy Equipment Assembler / General Laborer to join a busy production team in Canby, Oregon. This role involves working on large industrial equipment using cranes, magnets, impact wrenches, and other hand and power tools. Candidates should be comfortable working around heavy machinery and willing to perform physical labor throughout the day. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude, assembly experience, automotive experience, or hands-on work history such as Jiffy Lube, equipment assembly, construction, or manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lift and position heavy brackets and components onto industrial equipment using cranes and magnets Secure and assemble parts using impact wrenches and hand tools Sand and prep heavy equipment for painting and finishing Assist with painting and general production work as needed Follow safety procedures while working around large machinery and equipment Read and follow basic assembly instructions Maintain a clean and organized work area Support team members with additional shop and production duties
Qualifications:
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and equipment Able to lift and maneuver heavy materials with assistance and equipment Comfortable working around large industrial machinery Experience in assembly, automotive, construction, manufacturing, or related hands-on work preferred Experience using impact wrenches, hand tools, or power tools is helpful Forklift or crane experience is a plus but not required Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in a physically demanding environment throughout the shift
