SHIPPING ASSOCIATE

Pridestaff is proud to partner with a leading local print production company located in the Portland area. SUMMARY Looking to fill a Shipping role with the best candidate having skills in UPS and FedEx software, forklift operation, willing and able to assist the team in all aspects, with a positive "can-do" attitude.

PAY:

starting at $23/hr depending on skills and experience. More direct and extensive experience will be offered higher rates.

SHIFTS:

7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday -

Friday DUTIES:

Pick and pack items for the outbound Use digital systems, including but not limited to, RF scanners, UPS World Ship, and FedEx Shipping Manager. Consistently move containers of product up to 50lbs manually. Safely use a forklift to load, unload, and move product. Maintain inventory accuracy and organization Understand the principles of stock location and the arrangement of materials Packing and labeling items for shipping Prepare containers to be shipped per customer requirements and work orders. Keep daily logs, inventory, and rotate stock. Prepare shipping documents. Must support and follow all safety policies and requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum one year of recent and consistent work experience in a warehouse environment. Minimum 6 months of recent working experience on a forklift. Working knowledge and use of UPS World Ship and/or FedEx Shipping Manager software experience Proven ability to safely operate a forklift within a warehouse Work experience in an environment that requires attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with accuracy Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
