Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while supporting the efficiency of our warehouse distribution network. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, equipment operation, and logistics processes. Duties Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts to move, load, unload, and organize inventory efficiently. Assist with order picking and packing using an app based computer system and tablets Assist our customers (flooring installers) as they give you their PO number and you find, pick and load their order. Manage shipping & receiving processes by inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and documenting transactions in the Monday system. Support warehouse distribution activities by loading and unloading trucks safely while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts, order calculations, and verifying shipment details. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following safety procedures and conducting routine inspections. Requirements Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments is preferred but not required. Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and operating warehouse equipment safely. Strong attention to detail for order picking & packing accuracy and inventory management. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and shipment calculations. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across shipping & receiving functions.
