This position involves a combination of warehouse distribution tasks and assisting with driving routes, ensuring efficient movement of chemicals and supplies within the facility and to various customer locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping and receiving, as well as heavy equipment operations. Duties Operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and drum dollies to load and unload materials. Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards. Assist in heavy lifting and materials handling as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements. Provide support in training new staff on warehouse procedures and equipment operation when necessary. Maintain a clean driving record. Working safely around hazardous chemicals. Building and maintaining customer relationships. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, including order picking and shipping & receiving. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts. Experience with materials handling techniques to ensure safe lifting practices.
