Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Warehouse & Delivery Associate to join our team. This role requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and problem-solving skills to manage inventory, streamline warehouse processes, and ensure seamless order fulfillment. Additionally, this position includes delivering orders to various job sites, requiring strong attention to detail and a commitment to timely, safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will be process-driven, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards in inventory control, warehouse organization, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities Inventory Accuracy & Management:
Conduct detailed inventory tracking, cycle counts, and stock audits to ensure precise inventory levels.
Order Processing:
Accurately receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments while verifying order accuracy.
Warehouse Organization:
Implement and follow systematic processes to improve efficiency in storage, picking, and order fulfillment.
Shipping & Receiving Coordination:
Work closely with vendors and delivery personnel to streamline receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
Delivery Operations:
Safely and efficiently transport orders to job sites, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Keep delivery vehicles clean and well-maintained, performing routine inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Equipment & Safety Compliance:
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, while adhering to all safety regulations.
Process Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies and implement structured solutions to enhance warehouse workflow and productivity.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, deliveries, and warehouse operations for reporting purposes. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 30 lbs. frequently. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Comfortable working in warehouse environments, including exposure to varying temperatures. Ability to drive for extended periods and safely load/unload orders at delivery sites. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred. Prior experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory control is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience with delivery driving, and route navigation, preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain. Ability to work independently and follow structured processes. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
