Job Description
Job Description Singapore Math Inc. is a publisher and distributor of educational programs specializing in K-8 mathematics. Our mission is to make the highest quality math education accessible to all. We have been committed to serving schools and homeschoolers with this mission for over 25 years. We are looking for Seasonal Warehouse Associates to work with us from June 29th through September 18th. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. Seasonal Warehouse Associates are responsible for selecting, packing, and shipping orders of textbooks and manipulatives, ensuring orders are accurate and meet our quality standards. Associates will help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Summary of Responsibility Use packing slips to select customer orders, checking that products and quantities selected match the order as listed. Pack orders in appropriate boxes or on pallets in a manner that ensures products arrive to customers in excellent condition. Use hand scanners and shipping tools to create and apply shipping labels to packages and stage them for pick up by carrier. Restock pick shelves with product from backstock. Clean and organize workstations and keep stocked with the necessary shipping materials. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills and Experience Ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during work shifts. Ability to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to transport items around the warehouse. Must adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards. Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required. Benefits Bonus pay for outstanding performance. We bring in lunches daily from local restaurants for onsite employees.
