General Production Worker Job Description We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals with experience in using basic hand and power tools for a variety of roles in our modern machine shop. Candidates should have experience or hobbies related to working on cars, motorcycles, or similar activities. The position requires the ability to be cross-trained in all aspects of the shop and to follow written job orders while performing basic math calculations. ITAR compliance is necessary. Responsibilities Operate machines by following detailed work instructions and using basic hand tools. Perform quality control or metrology/inspection by following instructions and using inspection tools; print reading is a plus. Engage in hand finishing tasks such as deburring, using hand tools to remove material from metal parts. Handle shipping and receiving tasks by following work instructions to receive, package, and ship manufactured products. Essential Skills Mechanical inclination Experience with hand tools, micrometer, caliper, deburring, and polishing Ability to follow written instructions and perform basic math calculations ITAR compliance Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong mechanical inclination Desire to learn and be trained in the entire CNC manufacturing process Alignment with internal culture; seeking driven and like-minded individuals passionate about hands-on work Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a very clean and modern machine shop with newly integrated robotic systems to aid the CNC process. It is a highly automated environment with separate areas for quality and shipping departments. The regular shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with potential for swing shift work from Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
