General Labour Spotwork Bethlehem, PA Job Details Temporary | Temp-to-hire $16 - $17 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Forklift Certification Spanish Forklift Warehouse experience Materials handling Pallet jack Full Job Description Job Summary The Lumper is responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, and moving products within a warehouse environment. This role may also include general cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and organized facility. Candidates may be required to operate a forklift and must be able to communicate effectively in Spanish to follow instructions, understand safety procedures, and collaborate with team members. Responsibilities Load and unload trailers, containers, and trucks safely and efficiently. Sort, stage, and organize products in designated warehouse areas. Move materials manually, with pallet jacks, or by using a forklift when required. Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies. Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the warehouse. Remove debris and maintain clean, safe work areas. Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures. Assist with inventory and other warehouse tasks as assigned. Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding daily operations and priorities. Qualifications Must be able to speak and understand Spanish. Previous warehouse, lumper, or material handling experience preferred. Forklift experience is preferred; certification is a plus. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs or more throughout the shift. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods. Strong attention to safety and detail. Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
