Job Description
Leading global metals manufacturing and distribution company is looking for full-time Warehouse Machine Operators at a key service center location in Conshohocken, PA. Candidates should ideally have metals service center work experience that may include saw-cutting, machining and processing, and packaging of steel and aluminum products. Further training will include Plate Sawing, Heat Treating, Deep Hole Gundrilling, and CNC Machining. We are looking for self-motivated individuals, possessing good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work within a team. Key Functions:
- Operate machines including band saws, CNC machines, and heat-treatment furnaces
- Unload and receive metal materials into stock
- Package and band metal materials for shipment
- Operating fork-lift and overhead crane equipment
- Position, secure, and measure metal materials on machines, using fixturing devices, precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and hoists
- Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
- Loading and unloading of heat treatment furnaces
- Quality control including inspection and hardness testing of materials
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition
Requirements:
- Prefer 1 to 3+ years of experience in metal service center operations
- Full training on all relevant job equipment will be provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work overtime as required
- Strong ability to work within a team
- Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, mechanical abilities
- Dependability and high motivation
- Valid Driver's License required
