POSITION SUMMARY

The Yard Associate is responsible for supporting daily yard, rental, and equipment operations. This role plays a key part in receiving, inspecting, preparing, and maintaining equipment while keeping the yard and facility clean, organized, and safe. The Yard Associate also assists technicians and supports overall branch operations as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment Handling & Yard Operations Load and unload equipment and attachments using appropriate equipment. Ship and receive equipment and assist with equipment movement within the yard. Organize and maintain the facility yard to ensure safe, efficient operations. Equipment Inspection & Documentation Inspect all equipment upon arrival. Take photos, check for visible damage, and verify fluid levels. Upload images and checklist per company policy. Report damages or issues to management promptly. Equipment Preparation & Maintenance Clean and prepare rental equipment for customer use, including pressure washing and installing attachments. Check and top off fluids as needed. Assist in preparing equipment by performing manufacturer inspections and installing decals, mirrors, and accessories. Perform basic service tasks on equipment as assigned. Facility & Yard Maintenance Maintain the cleanliness of the yard by sweeping, weeding, mowing, and picking up debris. Clean shop areas, including sweeping floors, emptying trash, and organizing work areas. Review facility checklists and ensure the property remains clean, safe, and presentable. Technician & Branch Support Assist service technicians as needed, including serving in an apprentice-style support role. Support general branch operations and complete other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Qualifications Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements. Ability to use electronic devices (tablet or phone) to complete inspections and take photos. Computer skills Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Forklift/Equipment operation experience required or willingness to be trained. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift and move parts and materials weighing 10-100 lbs . Ability to climb stairs and ladders to access equipment.
