Overhead Crane Material Handler

Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler. This role involves maneuvering materials using forklifts and overhead cranes to efficiently load and unload trucks. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that materials are handled safely and accurately. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to maneuver materials. Load and unload trucks with precision and safety. Work closely with other team members to ensure materials are handled efficiently. Support the structural and miscellaneous tasks as directed by the Shop Foreman. Essential Skills Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes. Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32". Strong mechanical skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as a Yard Jockey, Pettibone operator, or Machine Operator. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficiency in material handling and basic computer skills. Work Environment Manufacturing facility Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East York, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
