Full Job Description Full-Time, Monday-Friday:

approx. 5:00am-2:00pm, can vary. We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to work with our daily shipments of various food and raw material products in and around the Lehigh Valley. You will be responsible for unloading and picking packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders. They must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills. They must have adequate physical strength to load, and unload shipped orders as well as the clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers. The goal is to ensure we receive/ship the correct packages and stock them appropriately. In addition, you would assist in the proper loading of the outbound trucks in the order of their deliveries.

Responsibilities:

Act as a delivery driver when needed for our daily deliveries. Assist and cross-train in our meat production room with the processing of fresh meats. Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt Unload packages from incoming trucks Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.) Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control As a loader, assist all warehouse departments as needed, including morning truck loading by stop. Skills Delivery Driver experience preferred Proven experience as receiving/picking clerk or similar position Experience in operating pallet jacks Solid understanding of health and safety regulations Basic math and recording abilities Excellent organizational skills Great communication and interpersonal abilities Keen eye for detail Good physical condition High school diploma
