Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you'll ensure smooth material flow across our facilities, operate equipment to move parts, and provide flexible support to keep production running efficiently. This position requires forklift certification/experience, the ability to travel between our nearby facilities for parts delivery, and a team-player mindset willing to assist in assembly or quality control when needed. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, or reach truck), order pickers and other material handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and store automotive parts, components, and materials. Pick, stage, and deliver parts and supplies between company facilities to support production schedules and minimize downtime. Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition against purchase orders, and accurately put away high-performance parts in designated inventory locations. Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and report any discrepancies or shortages. Prepare orders for internal transfer or shipping, including packaging, labeling, and securing loads for safe transport.
Float between departments as needed:

Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S/lean manufacturing standards to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage, equipment inspections, and hazard reporting. Perform other duties as assigned to support overall operations in our fast-paced performance automotive environment. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar role in manufacturing, automotive, or logistics. Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification quickly) and proven safe forklift operating experience required. Experience handling automotive parts or similar precision components is a plus. Ability and willingness to travel between facilities (valid driver's license and clean driving record required; company vehicle provided for inter-facility runs).
