Warehouse Lead Associate

Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order picking to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a high-performance environment. Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation using warehouse management system Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely processing while maintaining safety and quality standards. Oversee materials handling processes involving heavy lifting, mechanical equipment like forklifts, and proper use of OSHA safety protocols. Implement process improvements to optimize workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance overall warehouse productivity. Experience Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision within a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment. Strong background in inventory management, warehouse distribution, and materials handling techniques. Hands-on experience operating forklifts and mechanical equipment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, logistics coordination. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues related to warehousing tools or machinery. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
