Job Description

Responsible for packaging materials to established company standards in the warehouse area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Packages PVC profiles neatly and properly into racks, boxes, or crates according to VEKA's packaging diagram. Consolidates existing inventory in box warehouse and removes all box inventory from production floor. Assists Order Picker in pulling box orders. Repacks material handling racks as needed. Responsible for housekeeping in the warehouse area to keep work area clean and hazard free for your safety and your team members safety. Responsible for keeping the box warehouse organized. Inspect outbound orders including confirming piece counts; correct material was pulled and packaging condition. Housekeeping
  • including empty trash, pick up debris in lots and possible painting All other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Good verbal skills. Certified fork truck operator license Dependability, accountability, and responsiveness are essential. Ability to work independently and with accuracy. Ability to maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations. Good collaboration skills in a tactful and diplomatic manner. Flexibility in job responsibilities and assignments.
Education:
High School Degree or equivalent required.

  • Friday; 7 am
  • 3 pm and 3 pm
  • 11 pm (rotating weekly) Steady night-shift also available: Sunday
  • Thursday; 11 pm
  • 7 am
