Job Description
Under the supervision of the Office Manager, the Warehouse Delivery & Repair Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and equipment, including cleaning and repairing used equipment, as well as delivering equipment to customers. In addition, this position will be responsible for various duties associated with organizing and maintaining inventory in the warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Demonstrates commitment to clients by exceeding customer expectations for delivery, repair and cleaning of durable medical equipment: a)Follows Warehouse Policies and Procedures for the receiving, cleaning, disinfecting and testing of equipment. b)Makes deliveries to consumers and educates consumers on the medical equipment. c)Answers any customer questions or concerns regarding the equipment. d)Accounts for all delivery/service tickets and verifies they are completed accurately before forwarding to the Office Manager. e)Responsible to ensure that all deliveries, pick-ups, replacement parts/service repairs have the proper documentation on file in the HME office prior to delivery and pick-up services. f)Maintains a clean driving record. g)Maintains universal precautions when applicable. h)Either initiates a record on all pieces of equipment, manually or computerized. i)Receives and schedules all service/repair calls; returns calls to customers within 24 business hours. Responds to email within 24 hours. j)Organizes and maintains daily delivery and service repair. Enters daily schedule, including office time, into outlook calendar. k)Assists with deliveries, service and pick-up of equipment as required. l)Follows all Operating Manuals and Manufacturer Guidelines. m)Obtains quotes from manufacturers; for repair parts as necessary. n)Maintains established inventory levels. o)Receives product; labels and shelves product as required. Utilizes proper bagging and tagging techniques. Tags all serialized equipment with serial number assigned to the item. p)Stages equipment for each job to ensure that all items are received and ready for delivery. q)Assembles product as needed and as manufacturer directs. r)Troubleshoots and completes necessary repairs on equipment. s)Maintains organized service records of equipment provided by the company. t)Responsible to ensure that all manufacturer recalls are handled promptly and according to manufacturer directions. u)Responsible for inventory management and control. Maintains a clean and organized warehouse and work area; monitors, reports and addresses any safety issues or items of concern within the work environment. v)Follows all customer service standards and expectations. w)Responds to all e-mail and telephone inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner. x)Communicates with clients/family members in regards to status of equipment, repairs needed, financial arrangements, etc. in a courteous and professional manner. y)Manages client information in a confidential and professional manner at all times. z)Performs other duties and assists with additional departmental tasks as needed or assigned. aa)Resolves problems/issues/complaints when possible; follows up with HME Office Manager when necessary to achieve resolution. 2.Adheres to agency-wide policies and work rules including but not limited to: a)Reports any/all incidents of consumer complaints or work-related injuries/issues immediately. b)Maintains agency attendance standards. c)Complies with OSHA regulations and safety requirements. d)Notifies supervisor in advance, if possible, if schedule changes are necessary due to illness or other circumstances. e)Understands and adheres to the structure of UDS and works effectively within the appropriate chain of command.COMPETENCIES

High school diploma or GED required.EXPERIENCE
