We are looking for someone to join our team as a Evening Shift Material Handler in our Fabrication Department. Material Handler Come work for 35 hours a week and get paid for 40. We are looking for morning shift Material Handlers in our Fabrication department

Starting Rate:

Morning:

$19.00 an hour paid weekly.

Evening shift:

$20.00 an hour/ paid weekly (this includes a $1.00 shift differential) Morning shift: 5am-12pm Evening shift: 2pm-9pm Responsibilities Include 1.

MAINTAINS INVENTORY

by Identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock. 2.

LOCATES AND TRANSFERS MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES

by pulling and verifying materials and supplies; delivering them to appropriate department. 3.

STORES COMPLETED PART

by placing items in appropriate storage area. 4.

MAINTAINS SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. 5.

MAINTAINS MANUFACTURING FACILITY APPEARANCE

by transporting materials to disposal area; recycling materials. 6.

CONSERVES RESOURCES

by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. 7.

CONTRIBUTES TO TEAM EFFORT

by accomplishing related results as needed. 8.

MAINTAINS COMPLIANCE TO ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARD

by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. 9.

PERFORM ANY ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUESTED.

Qualified applicants will have: Must be a high school graduate or have equivalent training. Must be able to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Must have knowledge of safety regulations. Must be able to lift a maximum of 51 lbs. on average during a normal workday. Forklift experience preferred. Must be able to operate computers. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence. Ability to count and ability to measure equipment using a tape measure.

Work Environment:

• Steel toed shoes are required at all times.
• Must wear required PPE while on the production floor.
• Must adjust PPE to be meet requirements, as some specific areas may require additional specific items to be worn for PPE, such as bump caps, hard hats, shin guards, gloves, etc.
• Normal manufacturing environment exposed to noise and heat if working in production area.

Physical Demands:

• Carrying, pushing, or pulling parts to area.
• Lifting and bending frequently.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Majority of the time standing and moving about the department.
