Job Description

The Material Handler provides support for HPP by moving product from Warehouse and HPP production areas. Major tasks, responsibilities, and key accountabilities: Utilize a manual pallet jack to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materials Use a standup forklift to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materials Performing inventory counts for accuracy and discrepancies Shipping and receiving duties as assigned Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and put away. Safe and efficient operation of the vehicle Perform order filler and checker duties Maintain equipment and perform pre-operation checks according to policy Following health, safety, and cleanliness standards Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED 6 months MHE/Standup forklift experience preferred Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems Refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to perform basic mental math Ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write) Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Working Conditions This job operates in a wet and cold environment located within a manufacturing facility. The average temperature is 32 degrees. This position requires the ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours shifts and perform repetitive bending, twisting and lifting. It requires the ability to lift 45 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. rarely.
