Job Description
R&D Exotics Is Looking to fill the following position Warehouse and Shipping associate- Automotive based. What R&D is looking for- Position Overview We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team in a hands-on support role. This position is a mix of shipping, receiving, inventory organization, and customer interaction. The right candidate is reliable, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing things right the first time. This role works both indoors and outdoors. Our environment is active, industrial, and fast-paced. Please apply only if you are comfortable in a working shop setting. Responsibilities Process and package outgoing shipments via UPS and freight carriers Receive, sort, and properly store incoming parts inventory Maintain an organized parts storage system Assist staff with day-to-day tasks as needed Greet and assist customers during shop visits Support general office and operational tasks as assigned Requirements Basic knowledge of cars and automotive parts (Porsche or European marque experience is a plus) Comfortable working with computers — email, spreadsheets, shipping software Strong time management and the ability to prioritize tasks independently Positive, professional attitude — customer-facing interactions are part of this role Willingness to learn our processes and systems Reliable attendance — showing up on time, every day, is non-negotiable Ability to lift and move heavy parts as needed R&D offers the following- Health Insurance Flexibility Small business atmosphere Down to earth boss, and only 1 boss, Not 5 1 week PTO (40 hours) Parts discount Use of shop afterhours Merit raises Ability to advance on skill And more R&D is entering its 7th year of being in the Porsche Salvage business, we are proud of everything we've accomplished.
