Job Title:
Warehouse Worker Job Description As a warehouse worker, you will be responsible for picking and packing items by foot using a push cart. You will read labels and VIN numbers accurately and follow directions. Your role will also involve working in the returns section, inspecting products for any stains, rips, tears, or signs of wear before repackaging and relabeling them for return to the sales floor. You will be completing fulfillment orders, which include receiving new merchandise, picking, packing, and shipping orders, as well as preparing for stock put away. Regular and dependable attendance is crucial, as is punctuality. You should also be comfortable with using computers, mobile technology, and RF equipment frequently. Responsibilities Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity. Use RF scanners to track, manage, and update inventory in real-time. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately. Ensure system records reflect actual physical inventory levels. Assist with inventory projects, including transferring bins and materials between warehouse locations. Maintain organization and cleanliness within assigned work areas. Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times. Essential Skills Experience with inventory management and packaging. Proficiency in using RF scanners and RF scan guns. Material handling and packing experience. Comfortable with the use of computers and mobile technology. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, where shifts are from 5 pm to 3:30 am. The role involves physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
