In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and shipment of materials to ensure smooth and timely distribution. Responsibilities Safely load and unload materials using equipment such as electric pallet jacks, pallet jacks, adhering to OSHA safety standards. Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements and order picking processes. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, ensuring accuracy in order picking and shipping & receiving tasks. Load and unload trucks efficiently while managing heavy lifting tasks with mechanical knowledge of handling equipment. Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment including forklifts, cranes, and heavy machinery to ensure operational safety and maintenance needs are met. Assist in warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas, managing materials handling processes, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate shipping schedules, inventory control, and space optimization strategies. Support construction or industrial projects when required by providing materials handling expertise for heavy equipment operation. Follow all OSHA guidelines and safety protocols diligently to promote a secure working environment for all team members. Maintain accurate documentation of inbound/outbound shipments, inventory levels, and equipment inspections. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling roles. Skilled in order picker operations with familiarity using RF scanners for inventory management. Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments. Prior experience in construction or industrial settings is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order picking and load/unload activities.
